5.1 Amplifier "Remake" process
I am remaking my amplifier, one reason that i wanted some new features and also filter caps died because of excesive voltage =]. So - here it is... (in process)
It is using the IR Volume control, and same power amplifiers, subwoofer amp transformers are changed to other single one toroid. Etc, etc.
The schematics
front, rear, center amplifiers based on LM3886 IC (one channel shown)
i purchased the pcb's locally just search for AVT2180A
input selector and virtual surround decoder
no pcb, because made it on bradboard
sub "Linkwitz transform" circuit
(filter values you must calculate yourself for your speaker) PCB
Linkwitz Riley 24db crossover
(filter values you must calculate yourself based on desired crossover frequency) PCB
Speaker protection and mute module
Soft start circuit for transformers
